I had a telephone interview with the Chair of the Division in which I was pursuing an adjunct faculty role. The chair was very personable, straightforward, and asked appropriate questions based on the expected performance for the role. The chair gave me a clear timeline for a decision, and did provide their decision to me in that stated timeline. They demonstrated sincerity and professionalism throughout the process.
