It was fairly easy. The state of Illinois requires anyone that owns a firearm or works with firearms to have a valid FOID card. That was the longest part of the hiring process to obtain the FOID card. The interview wasn't bad at all, they just want to make sure you don't have any mental issues seeing as you will be working with firearms.
