      Entrevista

the interview process was 2 days and i met with 7 or 8 different people. i was supposed to replace someone who was quitting but they never left. was told during the interview that my position was very difficult and i wasnt expected to know everything coming in. interviewed with managers at 3 different departments and the person i was replacing. i really only had tech support experience but this was proprietary software and there was really nothing i could google. everything had to be taught. very little documentation was shown to me and they acted like i was hired right away. most of the interview was them explaining to me how their stuff worked.

Apply online, initial email and phone contact, First phone interview with recruiter. Interview at this stage was simple. Afterwards told I was a good candidate, and I would hear from her or hiring manager in next week or so. Next week turned into four weeks. Told she would have time set up for hiring manager and tech interview by one day, then another day and so on. Had to keep checking with them, since days they're we're supposed to contact me kept coming and going with out promised reply.

      Entrevista

They first have a phone interview with an HR person. I then got a call back inviting me back for another interview. In the first in person interview I saw the HR director who was super laid back and asked very generic questions which were also the same questions from the phone interview. I thought for a second they were looking for consistency. The Support Manager, who was in the military and we spoke mostly about that experience and then a bit about the job and how seniority works and what shift they were filling (8-5, 7-4), the Manager also mentioned On-Call and asked if it would be okay to be on call and getting calls in the middle of the night. Finally I met with the Support VP who really liked to talk . I was then called back and invited back to speak with a couple of people from the support team. In my experience it's always two different people, but the main thing they are looking for is to see if you'll fit in with the rest of team. A lot of the interview you're talking about yourself and your interests and also asking them questions about the job or anything. After that interview I was then made an offer via phone about a week later.

What kind of Candy Bar would you be and why? - Asked by the Support VP, who always tries to throw in a zinger question, so it could be something different everytime.
