Applied through their website and heard back a week later for the HR phone screening, They didn't ask any HR q's, started off with cantilevered beams but they admitted they were not an engineer and just had some answers written down. They also were late to the call.

First a recruiter call, then two technical phone call interviews, then an onsite including a full day of interviews and a facility tour. Many technical and behavioral questions. Lots of statics and heat transfer.

What is the most technical project you've done? What are the modes of heat transfer?
Technical mechanical engineering fundamentals questions - cover all topics (heat transfer, mechanics of materials, materials science, machine analysis, etc). Be prepared to talk through your problem solving process out loud.
