I reached out to a recruiter, they got back to me with pre-screening, then 2 technical phone interviews. Didn't go onsite as they rejected me after 2nd technical phone interview. I didn't answer incorrectly but the interviewer didn't like they way I responded. Then the recruiter got back saying they were looking for significantly more experience(like 3~4 times the amount listed on job description). If so, why not screening me out during pre-screening ? Duh! Obviously it was not the recruiter's decision but the interviewer and/or the engineering team actually. Glad I got another offer with potentially better pay and much much much better work-life balance as I heard from reliable sources that this place will work employees to death with low pay. What a relief !! Good luck guys !!

Simple questions. They didn't really ask the things listed on the job description for which I enthusiastically got myself prepared.

1st Interview was with Recruiter. They were very nice and didn't ask many behavioral questions. Mostly told be about the role and made sure I was who I said I was.

Why are you interested in this role? What projects do you find interesting?
Initial HR screening followed by technical phone interview. Technical questions included job specific questions related to rocket fuel and propulsion. Some general engineering questions were asked and a 10 min summary of technical background followed up with specific questions. Phone interview was 30 mins.

Check a box questions for newbies. Interviewer had no insight at all. Not just worthless but insulting for an experienced professional. Interviewer was late and rushed the process. Interviewer was incompetent.
