      Entrevista

      Two or three weeks after I applied for an open Administrative Assistant position, I received an email asking me to complete an online assessment. I did that shortly after receiving the email. Then, I was scheduled for a phone interview with a recruiter. I thought the phone interview went super well. I genuinely felt super excited about the position as well as the company. The phone interview was on a Friday, and I was told that I would hear more about the rest of the hiring process by Monday at the latest. The recruiter told me to send them an email if I hadn't heard from them by then. When I still hadn't heard anything by Monday afternoon, I sent a follow-up email about the hiring process. I didn't hear anything back. I thought maybe they hadn't seen my email, so I sent another email two or three days later, to which I never received a response. I was very disappointed to be ghosted like that by a recruiter, especially when she specifically told me to follow-up if I hadn't heard anything. The least she could have done was send a generic email saying that they had decided to move forward with other candidates if that was the case. The recruiter's actions left me with a very negative view of SOVOS in general, and I don't plan to ever waste my time interviewing there again.
