First (telephone) interview was 1/13. I followed up, repeatedly, and was called into the office to interview on 2/1. The interview was a bit bizarre because the interviewer never asked me any questions other than why I wanted the job. The rest of the interview was us having a conversation. Towards the end of the interview I was told to "keep in touch." Which, told me I was a "no" for the position. So, I asked. She quickly said, "that's not at all what I am saying; you should hear from me no later than Monday." Tuesday, February 7 I followed up again and was told the interviewer liked me as a person, but she didn't feel I had the skills for the job. This, quite frankly, alarms me since she never asked me about anything on my résumé or my background, previous experience or education. If I didn't have any of the skills, why was I called in to interview?
