First contact through LinkedIn, then a screening with another person. I have a lot of years of experience (5 to 15) on every technology they asked for. Did well, but after 1 week there was no response, so I texted them. "It looks like they met with someone who seemed like a great fit and offered them the job" was the message. It seems like their values say nothing about wasting other people's time.

As the CEO of Soul Refiner, I want to personally apologize for this oversight. You should have received a response that first week, and I regret that we fell short in this instance.

I had an interview on November 2023. I passed 3 interviews.
1 - HR
2 - technical interview was a take-home task. simply was create a PR on some example protect they sent me built on typescript, prisma, nodejs, postgress
3 - technical questions about past jobs and challenges. easy
4 - talk to the CEO. it was at least from my understanding all good
never contacted me again. not even to say "hey unfortunately we are going to move forward with other candidates " or whatever.
good to practice some exercises.
bad because it was a wasted time with no feedback. (I don't like this kind of process of dehumanization of the candidates, making silence with no feedback or response)

- how to improve react components
- what would you do if one endpoint is taking too much time to response. (DB is ok, indexes, partitioning, etc) referred to the backend
As the CEO of Soul Refiner, I sincerely apologize for this unprofessional experience. You deserved a response, and it was our responsibility to ensure that happened. While we interview hundreds of candidates each year, this was an oversight on our part, and it should not have occurred. Please know that we take accountability seriously, and leadership changes have been made within our HR department to prevent similar issues in the future.
