The recruiter called me almost immediately upon submitting my resume to schedule a interview. She then continued to call my phone me several times, after hours, on a Friday to setup the interview. When the interview happened the hiring manager was very proud of himself, and being a leader, which was the first 15 minutes of the conversation. He was rude and out of his depth the entire time. He said there would be a email followup, I never received it, nor would I waste my time following up.

I was an overseas candidate when applied. I was selected and they sent me a short test via email to complete and return. Following the completion and return of test I was invited to the UK office in Abingdon. The company arranged me transport from airport and accommodation for overnight stay at a hotel in the nearby Oxford. At the day of onsite interview, I spoke with two managers from the virus lab, and with the head of virus lab. The head of virus lab later joined the interview process when finished with the technical questions with the two managers. Interview experience was pleasant, questions were a lot about knowledge and detailed, not that in-depth though. They also asked me to complete a form with personal particulars and with other questions including the current salary which I declined to disclose. The interview closed with a tour in the virus lab which was impressive that time. Be aware of the open office environment. The interview took about 3 hours or a bit more.
