      Entrevista

After talking with the recruiter twice, there were two main interview parts, 1. Interviewed with the 3 main people on the team (directors, VP of Marketing/SEO), and reviewed my personal history for about 30 minutes each person 2. Had a week afterwards to come up with project doing an analysis of a site and how I would recommend optimizing it. After this, the recruiter sent an "offer" to negotiate This is where the downfall happened: - Even though they have a range listed in their job description, the recruiter was trying to get me to get a lower amount than what we originally agreed to. - Even though this was a fully remote position that they talked about being a perk, they later admitted they wouldn't let me travel to other places while working for them - They requested I be available to work within 2 weeks and gave me an e estimated date of when that would start. They took a whole month longer to get me an answer/offer and then refused when my current company requested 3 weeks, - The recruiter asked if I had any planned holidays and asked I tell her even if it's 6 months later. I told her I had a rough plan to travel out of the country but would not if the job didnt allow. She insisted that she submit the pto before I even got the job, then when she found out I couldnt work out of the country, she told me the job disappeared. - Although already stated, I want to insist the insanity of telling me that the job disappeared instead of saying they took back their offer. This was after they had already given an offer and discussed when I would begin. My takeaways: - The SEO team seemed very nice and like it could be pretty decent to work with; although everyone seemed very overwhelmed whenever I met with them - The recruiting process was incredibly confusing and misleading.
