      Entrevista

      I waited 2.5 weeks to get the technical interview, and then another 2.5 weeks to receive feedback, during which I followed up multiple times and got no response. This delay gave me difficulties with other opportunities I was exploring because I couldn’t respond to their offers until I got a response from Solflare. The interview itself was disappointing. It focused almost entirely on architecture: “how would you structure this in Flutter?”, without any screen sharing, coding, or real opportunity to demonstrate Flutter knowledge. It lasted over an hour, and while I handled the architectural design well, I got slightly stuck on a couple of questions but never gave any wrong answers. In the end, I was rejected because we “didn’t go into enough detail” and because I “lacked Flutter-specific knowledge”, even though they never asked anything specific about Flutter. That felt unfair and frustrating. Overall, it was a bad experience. The process was slow, communication was poor, and the evaluation didn’t reflect the actual content of the interview.

As for the interview itself, we understand the format may not have met your expectations. Our focus was on architectural reasoning to understand how you approach structuring apps and navigating design trade-offs. While you addressed most of the questions, the explanations often lacked technical depth or clarity, and at times didn’t convey the confidence we typically look for when evaluating engineering fluency in Mobile development. We appreciate your time and effort, and even though the outcome wasn’t what either side hoped for, your input helps us improve.
