3 interviews, 1st one with HR, 2nd and 3rd with a tech lead, with 2nd one being technical. Technical interview divided into 2 parts: with no programming language knowledge assumed.

Tell us about a recent leadership or teamwork experience you had. What did you do to make your team succeed? Were there conflicts? How did you solve them?

I heard back from all of the stages of the interview process within 48 hours. First we had to do some online tests which were of a non-verbal reasoning/ pattern recognition style. There was also a coding challenge, which was based on your previous experience. Next was a non-technical interview where you had to speak about your intentions for applying and experience- this was very friendly and relaxed. Finally was the technical interview, where I had to do 2 coding exercises with the interviewers (one in pseudo code, the other in Ruby) and one general interview.

Initial application via a straightforward online application form. Initial brainteaser style phone interview as described by other reviewers. Softwire were very quick to respond at all stages of the application process (a maximum of two days delay probably). Onsite interview process was much longer than I was expecting and consisted of multiple pseudocode problem solving puzzles, an on computer test (reasoning puzzles and essays rather than coding) and an HR style interview.
