I did an HR test after I pass the online test, the lady was really nice, only HR questions, nothing technical, I think it was about 30 minutes, but we finished earlier

Two rounds of technical interviews online followed by an in-person chat at the office in London. The process was very quick and the recruiter was friendly and very happy to discuss any questions I had.

Standard questions about previous experience with different technologies, working with clients/shareholders, overcoming a difficult situation, etc.

Horribly long and they ask a lot from the absolute get go in the application process.
Many custom questions in the initial application requiring a dedication of a lot of time to complete. You can't provide a CV on top of this, so all your additional work & education experience must be added in manually. Along with responses to their lengthy questions.
For this time Investment you give them they don't even give you the gratitude of the next stage being one where they also have to invest some time themselves to talk to you. Just an automated email the next day asking you to then commit another days worth, at minimum, of your time in prep & execution of coding & psychometric testing.
Despite scoring full marks on their coding assesment, and ranking very high in the percentile of other candidates. I was rejected for lower performance on psychometric tests.
Being a proven falsehood in assessing suitability for a role, I am disappointed that with all the time investment needed just get a response from a human in this ridiculous process that Softwire would use such a gauge in their hiring process in the first place. Let alone to the point where it is trumping experience & actual demonstrated coding ability.
Be warned, if you want to work here, you're putting in the hours before you even get to ask your questions and get something back yourself for your efforts.
Would not recommend & Softwire seriously need to reconsider their overall approach to hiring they are taking to show more respect to their candidates.
