Thank you for your feedback Admittedly, not the kind of feedback we hope to receive, but valuable and necessary as it helps us identify areas for continuous improvement.
Due to COVID, we’ve had to change some of our interview practices because our primary concern is keeping our staff and potential staff safe, and therefore, most of our team is working from home. In addition, given the uniqueness of each position, we tailor a customized approach to the recruitment and interview process for each role. One way, as you described, is to provide candidates the opportunity to tell us more about their experience by answering some relevant questions in writing.
A decision was made to change direction and it was determined we’d no longer be interviewing for that position. This is rare for us, and unfortunately in your case, it happened after the interview process had already begun. We contacted the recruiter immediately with the request to let you know. It was not our intention to cause you any inconvenience, and we apologize that the timing was so close to the phone interview.
