Applied through a recruiter, went through a phone screen with the recruiter. At the time I was told I was the only applicant in the process. My tech experience was geared toward D3.js and Python data visualization tools with some experience with R, while the role shown was R-Shiny preferred. Moved on to an interview with the staff. During the video call, the staff members appeared to be doing other work and checking other screens. I asked what the scope of the role would be, what the tech stack would be, what the remain interview process would look like, would there be a technical interview/case study, etc. They said they didn't know. SPR passed. Recruiter reached out several months later saying they would consider candidates without R-Shiny experience. I said I would still be interested in the role. Never heard from either party after that.
