I interviewed with Snowflake for UKI market & Amsterdam office. At first, everything has been so positive that final interview led to a reference check. However, even though I was told that I’d hear back from them within the week of final interview, not only they made me and my references wait for 2 more weeks, but also hiring manager cancelled the reference check after postponing it for 3 times, last minute. It has been so disrespectful of both of our times and unprofessional. The reasoning behind was that they are not in a position to offer me a role as it’s a start up and things change fast, at least not during the first half of the year. But in the end I am glad that I didn’t become a part of such unprofessional & toxic business. Hope this review help other candidates to have second thoughts about this organization and make better decisions. Because I ignored the bad reviews thinking that most of them are for US offices and now I know why I shouldn’t have (if I took them seriously, I wouldn’t waste my time on 5 more interviews and preparing a case study).

Final Round interview was a mock cold call. The interviewer picked a prospect from linkedin to portray. He demonstrated a classic stone wall objection - "Why should I tell you that?" And "I'm not sharing that" during discovery questions. Interesting choice to run a mock cold call during an interview like that. As a professional with almost a decade of experience it was easy to overcome, but I would not move forward with this company. They do not set apllicants up for success and I fear that entry level applicants will easily fail this part.
First few interviews over zoom were conversational, insightful, and well run. The last in person interview was less well run - presentation + mock call in front of three people. Some snarky, condescending comments from one individual but the rest ran the interview okay. More time should have been given to prepare the turn around was quick.
