I was contacted through a third party recruiting agency initially and after resume got selected I was told HR will be calling me. But HR never called. Then the third party agency scheduled my phone screen with the hiring manager. He was good and explained about the position and answered all my questions. He then wanted me to come in to the office for a face to face technical interview. One HR person co ordinated with me through emails to schedule the interview, but was always very delayed in his response. In my face to face interview, the team asked me few basic Android questions and 1 java question. But beyond that they pretty much asked the same questions which the hiring manager had asked me during phone screen. It lasted for 45 mins. After the interview, hiring manager said HR will get in touch with me about next steps. I waited for a week and then emailed HR about the status and have not received a response yet. I was pretty disappointed after the interview, as they hardly asked me any technical questions and made me come all the way to the office. It looked like they had already selected some one else for the position and knew they didn't want to select me even before I went for the interview.
