Overall, I had a positive experience with the SmartBear interview process, particularly on the HR side. The recruiter was thoughtful, responsive, and did a great job keeping me informed and prepared throughout. I then met with two senior executives, and from my perspective, the conversations went very well. They were engaging, substantive, and felt aligned with both my experience and how I think about partnerships and growth. What stood out, though, was the speed and nature of the decision. I was informed very quickly after those conversations that they would be moving forward with other candidates, which was a bit confusing given how the discussions had gone. That said, I appreciate the team’s time and the professionalism throughout the process.
