Entrevista
Well organized process. Initial phone interview, then a Zoom, followed by several on-sites due to travel & availability. I felt supported and in-the-loop throughout the process. The recruiters kept in touch with me and with my recruiter and they responded in a timely manner. The people who I met along the way were warm and welcoming.

My role is as much of a culture fit as it is a skill set fit. Nothing tricky, just explained how I do what I do and how I think about the process.

I interviewed with a variety of other EA's and business leaders. All virtual, Zoom based interviews. There was a recruiter main point of contact and one of the EA's also extended herself to be available for questions and support during the process.

The interview process was great! My recruiter consistently kept me updated and my interviews felt more like conversations. I initially met with the hiring manager(s) first, then a panel of EA’s, then the executives I would be supporting, as well as other informed professionals. The interview questions were thoughtful and the entire process was so streamlined.

Tell me how you’d handle assisting a re-organization of a team
Initial phone screen offered and completed. Be mindful that a more “senior” Executive Assistant on the team you’re interviewing for must approve you passing to the next interview stage.
I am a non-Asian or Latin woman of color who interviewed for an EA role. I got the impression that my identity would have made the “senior” EA uncomfortable, which was most likely why I did not pass to next stage. Being too honest transparent about what I was looking for in a quality EA team of peers I’d have to work with daily also made them uncomfortable.
Useful to know: I interviewed prior to their new Chief People Officer joining. Hopefully, her presence there will spark inquiry into the Executive Assistant org’s hiring practices resolve bias in the process for future candidates.

Phone screen with Recruiter was very swift - typical of smaller tech companies, who are early-stage public (post-IPO) entities.
Example of question asked: What kind of leader personality do you work best with?
They also asked about my ability to work well with a team of EA’s as they are “a tight-knit team”.
