30 minute phone screen with hiring manager discussed my experience, interests, and other questions to assess team fit.
Next round was a 72 hour take home assignment. Unlike other coding assignments, they wanted me to write a RESTful client that interacted with their management API.
This was one of my least favorite programming tasks for an interview, not because it was difficult, but I had to write a whole application, but there was nothing interesting about it.
My application invoked something similar to C.R.U.D for virtual environments, tested the resulting state, handle command line arguments, logging, etc. etc.
A Jr. level coder could have banged this out with a modern IDE. I would have preferred a smaller scope, but more complex CS algorithm assignment.
