Entrevista
I was living 5 hours away and planning to move to the city where my new job was in the next 30 days. I drove down to the new city for an interview in person after a brief phone interview in which they expressed interest. The in person interview was a total waste of time, the manager sat with me in the food court and asked me a bunch of generic questions, before saying that they would be in touch in the near future. I got a call 10 days later saying that I needed to set up another interview in person, and when I said that wasn't possible as I hadn't moved yet and couldn't make the trip again, I had another 2 phone interviews with the district manager. This one was pretty much just him talking about what the goals of the region were and if I would be willing to move around as they were expanding and might need someone to do that, which was totally fine. The real killer was the back ground check process. It took 3 weeks from start to finish, and I have a totally clean criminal record and am a full citizen. On top of that, during this process I wasn't given any information on my start date, starting salary or hours.
Everyone involved seemed very inexperienced with the process, and rarely could answer any questions I had regarding the paperwork. They're great people and perfectly decent at their jobs now that I see the day-to-day bits, but the initial process highlighted that they were retail workers that got promoted, not managers with any training.

One on one for the most part. Took roughly 30 minutes. Straightfoward interview: Work history, experience with customers, and the like. Most managers are nice and pleasant during the interview process, mine included.

Pregunta 1
The only question you should plan out before the interview: Describe instances where there were situations that you had to resolve.
