I was contacted by email and invited to attend a video interview The lady interviewing me made zero eye contact with me throughout the whole process, she was typing, so I’m not sure she was even listening I was asked what my salary expectations were, which I didn’t feel was appropriate at this early stage in the process. But I gave a fair salary band based on the market average I answered some competency based questions. The whole process lasted thirty minutes I was advised I would be updated of the outcome in a week. Needless to say, I received no response, as indicated and had to email only to be told my CV didn’t align with the job criteria Lol!! So why interview me?? No you didn’t want to pay the market anchor.
