Instead of phone interview, came in to interview with the hiring manager and a technical interview. Hiring manager was late to the interview. At the end of the interview was told they wanted me to come back in to interview with the rest of the team. Week went by, finally said they weren't going to do the second interview. I see now why they have such bad reviews. They shouldn't waste peoples time like this. Didn't validate parking.

First interviewer asked me questions that were impossible to answer - namely, how to generate test cases for, and test, an API where there were no defined inputs or outputs. I kept asking for such information, but it was just shrugged off. The interviewer also seemed harried; like he wanted/needed to be anywhere else. The second and third people with whom I spoke were more reasonable - the experience went well. I didn't get a second interview as (according to the feedback received by the recruiter) they wanted someone with "more testing knowledge". Right. I've been testing software for more than 20 years. I at least know that without a definite input and output for an API there can be no pass or fail and thus no viable test case.
