Went through three rounds of interviews. First was a phone call. Then the other two were video chats with the company's dev team lead and CMO. The interviews were great and were a very quick and nice process. The worst part was the communication between the hiring manager and me. After reaching the final interview and being told "I was one of the top candidates" I was ghosted. For weeks I didn't hear anything and then the team lead reached out to me to ask if I heard anything cause he hasn't yet. Turns out they hired someone and he didn't even know. Neither did I. The hiring manager then reached out to me to say "We don't have a decision yet, I definitely will keep you posted" even though they hired someone. Nearly a month later and I have been completely ghosted and robbed of my time.
