Was called in after reference. In person 1 hour interview at their Richmond office. A hiring manager and a staff validation engineer was present and one other engineer did not show up. About 20mins into the interview, the hiring manager walked out. Was left with a staff engineer asking a few technical questions and mostly "how well do you know type of questions...?" Most questions were behavioural or experience related. No point during the interview did it seem they were interested in hiring just off the bat. After the interview just makes your wonder why they asked you to come in to start off with. May be a waste of time if you don't have prior experience in the cellular domain. Wondering how that would be helpful for if you're looking to hire senior qa engineers given there are a handful of companies in the cellular network domain.
