I applied online in Sept-Oct, then I was first contacted about interviewing for a SNC co-op in human systems engineering in Madison in the first week of November. I told the HR representative that I was only interested in summer positions, but they said that I could interview anyway. I interviewed with the hiring manager in Madison and really hit it off, but again clarified that I was only interested in a summer position. He said that he would work with HR to see if they could open a summer position, but we later learned that the Madison facility only takes co-ops and they couldn't bend the rules for me. In December the HR representative told me that she would personally search for a summer-only internship at another SNC location, asked me what I was interested in, and contacted me in January with a flight operations internship in Colorado with another very friendly manager that exactly matched my interests! I have yet to start working there, but overall it seems that SNC has and extremely kind and accommodating team.
