Like a lot of people, I'd heard a lot about how Shopify rethinks how it conducts itself as a business, namely banishing the meetings. When a recruiter reached out over LinkedIn, I was intrigued to explore the opportunity. However, they set up a short interview with the hiring manager without a screening call. In retrospect, this was a poor process to agree with as it meant we covered some rather basic things and I wasn't able to jump into full, meaningful discovery or discussion.

It was a smooth process, very organised and great conversation with all the team members. It is a 3 steps process, meeting future colleagues and managers and creating an assessment for the position
