Total of 4 rounds. 1st round: GMAT Data Sufficiency, Mathematics and Logical Reasoning. 2nd round was an interview with HR which was really informative but was told that she would be the one that decides which team in Shopee I would join. 3rd round was a Case Study with a Shopee Leader. I didn’t make it past the 3rd and here’s why. Disclaimer: My overall interview experience would have still been negative even if I made it past the 3rd round. Most applicants presumably have spent significant amounts of time in their speciality, be it marketing, operations, data analytics etc. The reason for this is..we know what we want and that’s why we spend our time and effort becoming better in our own field. Now, to then decide in round 2 that someone from let’s say a data analytics background should go to Product management makes 0 sense... Additionally, not knowing who will be interviewing you UNTIL you hop on the zoom call is even worse. Personally I answered in the best way I could but knew that no matter the result, I wasn’t keen on joining another career path. I would have much preferred to just be rejected in the 2nd round then have wasted my time and energy for the third. If you feel an applicant specializing in one field isn’t good for that, then you shouldn’t decide where they should go instead without giving them an option.

First is assessment. It was relatively hard compared to other companies' assessments. After passing, HR interview, where you will be asked about your experiences. The last is the case interview with the hiring manager.
