Round 1: phone interview (short interview, general resume questions, HR was very nice) Round 2: SQL and Python test via email with time limit Round 3: interview with manager/lead Round 4: interview with head/higher management Extremely bad experience for my round 4 interview. Interviewer seemed unprofessional and made judgmental comments about my life choices. While I understand that some interviews are meant to test the candidate's reactions under stress, I feel that some of the questions asked were irrelevant and inappropriate. Nevertheless, I appreciate the time the interviewers had taken to interview me. I am glad that I was able to see this side of Shopee before making any important decisions.

Phone screening with HR was chill, sharing about the basics and the role. The first round with the hiring manager included a self-introduction, behavioural questions, and a few case studies. Overall, the vibes from the hiring manager were great, asked really technical questions, but was also very engaged in the conversation. The second round of interview with another stakeholder, however, was off-putting. The interviewer was clearly not interested, and it seems they were present only for KPI purposes. Did not even bother to introduce themselves and their relevance. The interviewer was eager to end the call. There was also an assessment that had to be completed prior to the interview. HR did not provide any instructions for the interview, nor were there any updates or follow-up. What a waste of time.
