      Entrevista

      First I had a call with the recruiter, but they had to reschedule the call due to another meeting at the last minute. Not a big deal. When the recruiter and I were able to speak on the phone, I expected the call to take about 30 minutes but it ended up taking over an hour for the screen. I didn't exactly have that much time available but rolled with it as the recruiter was informative and kind. Next, I spoke with the hiring manager for 30 mins which on the other hand from the recruiter screen, wasn't enough time. I felt the questions from the hiring manager were rapid fire and not really conversational. A few days later after not hearing back via email, I did receive a call from the recruiter with helpful feedback (not a lot of companies do this at all) and the decision that they were not moving forward with my application. The recruiter was rather candid and I appreciated that. The hiring manager felt that I wasn't confident in my answers, but I really didn't have enough time to think about the questions before moving onto the next, since we were limited on time. I'm able to think on my feet but didn't feel like I was given the chance to in this interview or maybe that this was not a value desired by the hiring manager in a candidate. It felt more like they wanted someone who knew everything all of the time, which really isn't possible.
