First spoke with their HR/Recruiter on the phone to review experience, expectations and fit. A follow-up coffee meeting with a direct hiring manger was scheduled in the city. Scheduling conflicts shifted the physical meeting to a phone call but we were able to spend about an hour getting into greater depth about cultural fit and current needs. The enthusiasm and experience from the hiring manager was inspiring and we were able to geek-out on a lot of data analysis questions.
