I had 7 (seven) interviews and took a personality test to be ghosted by the recruiter/hiring team. I waited a few weeks and reached out two more times, asking if they'd moved on with another candidate, and still no reply. Extremely unprofessional and frustrating -- interviewing is mentally draining and they did not even take 30 seconds to inform me of their decision. Even before being ghosted, I'm not sure this is a company you'd want to join. Red flags everywhere "startup culture" "long days, roll up your sleeves to get the job done under any circumstance" "sometimes work until 10pm if you have to." When I asked more explicitly about work-life balance, no one knew how to answer and gave me the impression there just was none.
