I learned about career opportunities at SharkNinja from Indeed.com. Some opportunities grabbed my attention. So, I reached to some current employees. One of them forwarded my resume to several people including HR. The senior manager of global technical talent acquisition (HR) sent me an email. He asked me my availability to connect during that week. I replied right away, but few days passed and there was no response from him. A week passed, he replied without apologizing or saying sorry for not responding. He asked me if I could meet later in that week. I said yes, so we scheduled a meeting. 30 minutes before the meeting started, he sent an email to cancel the meeting. Again, he never said sorry or apologize for cancelling. I replied if he wanted to reschedule. But, he didn’t reply. About a week passed. So, I reached out. He replied, without apologizing again, saying he was out of the office and needed to leave unexpectedly. Finally, after the 4th try. We had a meeting. I thought the meeting went well. He asked me to send him an updated resume and I answered a personality test. Two weeks passed with no reply. I reached out and he replied saying there was a manager who was interested in talking. But, he was out of the office so I would take an extra week to get a reply. Weeks have passed and I am still waiting. I sent a couple of emails and a voice message. But, there has been no reply. If you read the feedback from employees inside Shark Ninja, they complain a lot about HR. Me, without working there I got a taste of that.
