was asked to come right in for an interview which was refreshing. no phone screen. i thought i did really well and got along with the interviewers. they needed someone asap to come in and hit the ground running - so i tried to show them that through my experience/skillset that i could do that. ive heard some really bad things about the politics and terrible management @sesame workshop, but thought maybe this team was ok. was told twice i'd hear back from hr and when i didn't i checked in and received a terse email saying hr would be making the announcement that afternoon - meanwhile it was almost end of day ? never heard back either way - frustrating, misleading and unprofessional. i know i did well so this didnt make sense - maybe i did too well and they were threatened. pathetic. my skillset is an asset not a threat and any company that refuses to see that is not for me. im sure from what ive been hearing about this place that this was just the tip of the iceberg. recommend to steer clear.
