Message for the internal recruiters: people buy people, you are the first point of contact for candidates, you are the brand ambassador of the company so therefore be professional and treat candidates with respect. You can’t just be calling candidates for an interview whenever it suits YOU, some of us still work for our respective employers. When a candidate is chasing you to suggest a time, AGREE on a time that works for both of you, don’t just ignore the e-mail and randomly call early morning whilst the candidate is on holiday or in client meeting. I have skipped many lunches for my clients, that is called dedication, I suggested lunch time for a call which clearly means I am sacrificing my lunch time too. It works both ways. In 15 years I have never experienced something like this before but atleast I now know I wouldn’t want to work for a company like ServiceNow. FYI I never received a call back from the recruiter which was even more shocking.
