First “interview” is a 15 minute Zoom audio-only call with the recruiter. Second and final round is a 1 hour and 15 minute Zoom call that consists of a half hour of behavioral interview questions with HR and a 45 minute case study with a senior FP&A manager. They give you a study guide before that is a one size fits all for the FDRP, FP&A RP, and the FD internship. The case study was not hard at all. They tell you exactly what they are looking for in a candidate in the study guide, which is nice.
The recruiter was nice and energetic. However, the final round interview was with two dull people. Their attitude was totally “here I am… another day at work… woohoo (sarcasm).” There is also no mention of this program anywhere online, which leads me to think this is its first or second year being offered.
They took 2.5 weeks to come to a final decision, which is an extremely long time. I made the company aware I had expiring offers. At the end, so much time has passed that I accepted an offer elsewhere so I’m not unemployed. They will not tell you their salary nor their decision if you tell them you have a competing offer. Strange, slow process, but at least there were only 1.5 hours of interviewing total. From what I’ve seen for their finance salaries on here, I doubt the program would pay enough to not live with 5 roommates in Silicon Valley anyways.
