      Entrevista

I participated in two technical rounds. The first round went relatively smoothly, but the second round was quite surprising. The interviewer, a staff-level engineer who has likely been with the company for over five years, seemed unfamiliar with Progressive JPEGs, mistakenly thinking they could only be implemented through React coding. Additionally, he appeared to know only one approach to multi-frontend architecture—module federation—and couldn’t understand why other methods might be considered. It became clear that the staff-level engineers conducting the interviews lacked technical depth. I would not recommend investing your time in this process. It's unlikely you'll progress beyond the second round, and even if you do, their flawed decision-making in the debrief will likely cause further issues. In both rounds, I was given one coding question, which I successfully completed within 12–15 minutes. Despite this, I was rejected. Check frontend developer feedback from 2022 seems the same interviewer. Tip for Candidates: Stick to module federation only when discussing about microfrontend — anything beyond that might cause the interviewer to blank out and reject you! :P Advice for Leadership: Consider enabling AI-generated summaries of interviews. The insights from these summaries might surprise you and reveal areas where your interviewers could improve. Lastly, I couldn't help but wonder if unconscious bias, possibly gender-related, played a role in my rejection. This might partially explain the company’s low diversity ratio, which is worth reflecting upon. I hope this review provides helpful insights for future candidates and company leadership alike.
