I was first contacted by an HR rep in the beginning of March after applying for the position in December. The HR rep conducted an initial phone screen with some basic questions. Why do you want to work for Sephora? Salary exp? Start Date? When did you work on a project that required Project management skills? The rep also gave me a brief overview of the position and what is to be expected of me. I was then contacted a week later for another interview with two more people (Director of department and another project manager). These people would be in my prospective department. This interview was a little more involved. I was given a deeper understanding for the position and why it was vacant. They asked me questions of when have I used data? Have I ever been in this type of role before? Do I know about the nuances of this position etc. After this interview I was contacted a week later to meet via Skype with 3 different sets of people (panel style). These people would be employees that I would need to partner with in order to make my job more manageable. I was given a more in depth understanding of how I would need to work with these people as well as what they expect out of my role. One person from the panel asked a more detailed question such as "How would I approach Sephora bringing in a new product? How can we measure success? Will this be beneficial for the company? Etc." After this panel I was interviewed two more times to ensure that they were making the right choice. I believe that I went through a longer interview process than most as I was a person who was to be relocating for the job. I performed all interviews via phone and Skype. They did not fly me out to the HQ. Sephora offered me the job 1.5 months later and will be relocating me to HQ. My interview process overall was very smooth and all team members were very professional. I accepted the offer.

I had a quick recruiter call with Sephora. Didn’t feel like the right fit so didn’t move forward. Generic questions but the interviewer was kind. Will not be moving forward.
