Assignment: We all have certain irritating habits that annoy others. Among the many parallel universes, there is one where such habits are a matter of pride—people try to annoy as many others around them as possible. They actively exercise their maliciousness and eagerly measure who is going to beat who. There are even annual championships in annoyance! For this universe, we decided to create Toxiccity. Your goal: To give the inhabitants of this universe the ability to track their progress, see the progress of their competitors, and keep track of the gap that’s left until receiving the Chief Annoyance Cup. Our target audience is people aged between 15 and 35 who are committed to a toxic lifestyle. The audience is comprised of 65% men, 33% women, and the rest are non-binary. Users are social, active, and have a competitive spirit. We’ve already collected data on annoyance ratings. You can find it in this table. What needs to be done: Visualize data from the table that will be displayed to the user. Note that table visualization is not necessarily just a spreadsheet. It can be graphs, pie charts, etc. Form two to three interface hypotheses about how the interface will affect or stimulate the desired user behavior. Explain why your solution is a good one. Explain how you plan to test the hypotheses. Example of the interface hypothesis: The user needs to see only the very top list of the table to make a quick conclusion about their position in the ranking without wasting a lot of time. Hypothesis test: See how many users scroll to X row in GA events analytics. Prepare the layout to submit for development. It’s important for us that the layout includes the state cases (empty, loading, error, hover, full, etc.) and everything is prepared for the frontend engineer’s work.
