I recently had an 2nd interview where I was given a series of tasks to complete before the actual interview. The tasks were well-structured and came with clear instructions, which made it easier to understand what was expected. Writing an email to a customer: The first task involved drafting an email to a customer. This was to assess my communication skills and my ability to handle client interactions professionally. Prioritizing multiple client projects: The second task required me to prioritize several client projects. This was aimed at evaluating my time management and organizational skills, as well as my ability to make strategic decisions under pressure. Creating a PowerPoint slide with a project scope: The third task was to create a PowerPoint slide outlining the scope of a project. This tested my ability to summarize and present information in a clear and concise manner. During the interview, I had to go through each of these tasks and explain my thought process behind the decisions I made. The interviewers asked me how I related these tasks to my current job, which allowed me to demonstrate how my existing skills and experience were applicable to the role I was interviewing for.
