Scouts sent in their applications and the cream of the crop was asked to come in for an interview at the LAAC office. The best of those with an interview were then chosen for the job.

I filled out an application online and in a day or so got an email to schedule a Zoom interview. The interview was with the Camp Director and Program Director.

I was interviewed by other camp staff members about my history with the BSA, with education, and with environmentalism. My specific interests helped them gauge where I was assigned at the summer camp.
