Recruiter was late; no apology. Interview approach—abrupt and curt, almost to the point of being rude. Rapid-fire questions, deliberately creating confusion, and requesting irrelevant personal information, like wanting my former manager’s details like her full name and her job title, which are completely unrelated to the job, without any explanation of why, even though this was just a prelim phone interview, is manipulative, unprofessional, and a major red flag. Zero warmth, openness, rapport-building, or interest in any of my experience or what I had to offer. It felt as if she was going through the motions and that they had someone else in mind. The interview ended early. Positively horrid and unprofessional experience and a complete waste of my time. Would refuse any offer.
