      Two initial 30-minute screening interviews, followed by a full in-person day. With 4 1-1 interviews and a presentation. Then lastly, another 30-minute 1-1 with the head of the EU team.

      I was interviewed by another senior application scientist. I thought the conversation went well, but I never got any feedback why I was not accepted. I reached out to HR later, and I got a vague reply. I searched afterwards and I didn't see any new hires for the role, which made me think it was a ghost job.

      Entrevista

      The interview process was thorough and lengthy. I had two initial video calls: one was just a chat and for the second I had to give a 15 minute presentation. These both went really well and I moved on to the final stage: an entire day in-person interview for which I had to use a day of annual leave from my current position . This day started at 10 am and went until 6 pm and was made up of non-stop interviews. I was also required to give a 40 minute presentation. I felt I was exceptionally well fit for the role given the job description and the day went splendidly. Two weeks later (after some prodding) I received a call that I was not selected for the position. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience, but I’m left feeling mislead and not understanding why I wasn’t selected. The only feedback I received was that I lacked some desired breadth. I take this to mean there is an essential skill set they are looking for which I do not have. This feels like something that should be made explicit in the job description and also like something that could be figured out prior to an entire day of interviews which took a significant amount of time and effort to prepare for. Overall, lovely people but I was left feeling like they don’t know who they are looking for.
