First step in the process was a very brief phone interview nothing too crazy just a review of my past experience. He let me know for the next step is would be provided a psd and my test was to build out a site from the psd front end only. I was told that I would be compensated for my time and asked what my hourly rate for this work would be. Next step is presented my finished product to the manager and 2 developers. The presentation seemed to go well and all parties seemed to give positive feedback. I was told to email them my code and allow them to review it and that they would be in contact with my in a couple days to discuss next steps. I didn't hear anything for 2 weeks after several emails the manager finally got back to me informing they filled the position. No word has been given as far as compensating me for my time as promised.
