The process begins with a recruiter screen, then a 1:1 with the hiring manager. From there, you have the opportunity to meet with two other members of the CSM leadership team. After that, the final round is a case study presentation to a panel of 3-4. The recruitment process was incredibly transparent and supportive, with regular check-ins and offers to help along the way from my recruiter. This immediately gave me a good feeling about the company. During the case study, you are asked to present how you would handle a standard customer situation/set of challenges. I appreciated that I could present as if I were presenting to internal stakeholders vs. a mock client scenario. This made the exercise feel less staged, and I found it to be a creative way to learn more about the product and what it might be like to work at Samsara. My only feedback is to consider adding a few more minutes to allow candidates additional time to ask more questions. Overall this process stood out as being very thoughtful, detailed, and relevant to the role compared to other recent interview experiences. I felt prepared for each interview, knew exactly what to expect, and received feedback quickly. Very nice interviewers, but lack of communication once you're removed from the process. When you advance to the next round, they communicate quickly, but they never sent a rejection despite being further in the process. Their web portal is a good idea in theory but is not actually updated with your interview status.
