Overall the interview process was disorganized and ended in frustration. After a phone interview, an in person interview in Manhattan, then another in person interview in Brooklyn I was told it was down to myself and one other candidate and I needed to provide 3 references, 2 of them being past supervisors. After I asked my references for permission to use them and informed them about this role they were never even contacted! Very embarrassing for me. I was then ignored for weeks by this company until I finally got a response email saying I was not offered the job. Throughout the messy process I tried to cut some sack for the people I had been speaking too. I assumed they were very busy due to the need of a new person on staff. Very disappointed with how this all played out. Regardless of being offered the position or not, a person taking the time and spending the money to get into the city twice should have been treated better.
