They were opening a new store by my house so I applied online. A few days later I got an email for a job fair for the new location. I showed up to the job fair dressed appropriately with resume in hand. I filled out a small form with my name and info so they could look up my application. The lady came back a few minutes later and said I'm sorry we can't even interview you because you don't have open availability. This is a new store and we can only hire people with open availability. I was mad because they should of checked my availability on my application and not invited me to drive across town to the job fair for nothing. Anyways, when the lady told me she could not interview me I was professional and said ok and I understand and I left without a scene.
