It was fine. The usual. It took a long time to get back to me in between interviews - but all went well. They didn't ask me any questions outside of the standard personality questions, and also asked me some technical questions - or how I have dealt with things in the past.

Interview Process: I applied for a Senior Fund Accountant position with over 9 years of financial operations experience and a Master’s degree. The initial screening call with the recruiter was incredibly disappointing. Not only did she come entirely unprepared, but she actually questioned my technical background as if having advanced technical skills was a negative attribute for a senior finance role. Additionally, despite my visa status and working rights being clearly and explicitly listed on my resume, she spent an excessive amount of time questioning it. She ultimately admitted she 'had no idea' how it worked and would have to check with the local HR team anyway. It was a completely unproductive and unpleasant conversation.
Advice to Management:
Ensure your recruitment team actually reads candidate resumes before jumping on a call. Questioning a candidate's advanced technical skills when entering a data-heavy senior role in a company makes no sense, especially for a company that markets itself on its fintech capabilities. Furthermore, if a recruiter is handling international or regional hiring, they should be trained on basic local visa types so they don't waste the candidate's time interrogating them about details already clearly provided on paper. Treat senior professionals with respect and stick to the communication timelines you promise.

Basic screening questions about my background, but the call was dominated by repetitive questioning about my visa status and defensive push back on my skills
Interview is Little difficult as one has to have a core knowledge of financial analogs. Also, corporate action and dept knowledge of journal entries plays a major role in cracking the interview.
It was average and nothing out of the ordinary. People were friendly and approachable. They made it easy to talk and at the time I found them to be very engaging.
