Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en SLB (Broussard, LA) en ene 2014
Entrevista
Long and very dragged out process. The interview was pretty quick, but all the checks and back ground and drug screens, medical screens, fit for duty test took all together about 30 days total. Then two weeks of training classes before you even begin to get to work. Long process but worth it at the end.

Me postulé en persona. El proceso tomó 3 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en SLB (Caracas, Distrito Capital)
Entrevista
SLB looks into hiring people with strong commitment to work and rapid learning skills. If entering directly from university you will be looking at a 3 phase admission process in which you fill a form, once pass that level you are required to assist to a field visit in which severalactivities are performed to identify you learning capacity, team work, stress management and in general your interest into working for them. This is a 2 days process and from a group of 15 probably up to 30% could pass to the last phase. In the last phase you are sent for a field visit, a bit longer, probably up to a week or 2, where you are exposed to field work and expected to learn as much as possible. You are not only bombed with a lot of information but you are expected to be present in as many jobs as possible. Then you will be tested on your learnings plus there will be an additional evaluation done by the coach in regards to your energy, willing to work, team behavior, etc. After this you enter SLB.
