Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Runna (Londres, Inglaterra)
Entrevista
3 stages - Introductory call with 2 small live leet code exercises. Next stage is a take home test, final interview is code review/system design/culture.
People who interviewed me were really kind and polite, however, the take home test is poorly structured, hidden task agendas which if not done, will burn a lot of your time.
The project is barebones, and you are given 5 tasks to do (in reality it shouldve been 8-9) even though they state they will assess you based on the tasks.
Even with you successfully doing this, you will need packages and additional setups for testing libraries/navigation (which will cause package conflicts btw). Tokens were hard coded, but because you followed the same format, its a problem. You will be penalised if you do not refactor their bare bones project to a fully fledged functional project, which, ironically is sheer stupidity if you are not going to state that as part of the task. Take home tasks should be a 2-3 hours at the most, what exactly were you looking to achieve with such a long winded vague task?
Thanks so much for the feedback - will pick this up with Walter (CTO) today to see if we can improve our take-home task at all. Sorry if you felt it was poorly structured.
